Personal Childhood Web

My mother is kind and nurturing woman who will help my brothers and I anyway possible. She has always been there for me when I needed her. As a child growing up she showed me what unconditionally love is and the meaning of hard work. Although there were three of us she always did special things with us, I had a mommy and me day. My mother is one of my biggest inspirations and my cheerleader because she encourages me to follow my dreams.

My great grandmother was like another mother to me because she helped raise me along with my mother. When I needed someone to talk to she was always there for me no matter the situation. She always instilled in me that education was important and never let anybody tell you that they are better than you. My mother and great-grand mother are my best friends and wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. Although she has passed away I still remember telling me never let anyone stop you from achieving your dreams.

This is my aunt she has been there for me since I was born. She never had children so she treated all her nieces and nephews as her own. I considered her to be the cool aunt who you can always talk to without telling your mother. She always has given me advice and told me the truth even when I didn't want to hear it.

This lady right here is one of my other mother’s who had a hand in raising me. She never had a daughter so said I was. Anything I could ever ask for she tried to get it and when I needed something she was always there. She has always told me I could do anything I just have to set my mind and put God first in anything I do.

This is my aunt Linda she is a very strong willed woman who doesn't take any mess. She was very stern with me and always made sure respected others. She taught me how to stand up for myself and showed me how to cook. She was very loving and nurturing to me growing up, she still shows me that same love today.

Oh, the Places You'll Go

"In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn"-Phil Collins
I love this quote because you learn things that you didn't know or ever thought of when teaching. Children end up teaching you things that you didn't know so it's a learning process for you and the child.

Dr. Seuss books are my absolute favorite but I love his book "Oh, the Places You'll Go". I love this book because it gives children a chance to just wonder the places they will go in life. I believe it opens up there imagination as does the rest of Dr. Seuss books.

Welcome! I'm new to this but I find it very interesting and eager to learn how it works. I am currently attending Walden University for my master's in Early Childhood Education with a specialization in Administration, Management, and Leadership. I am ready to start my journey.
