I haven’t come into contact with my EC professionals from
other countries and the websites aren’t working either but I did some research
on childhood poverty in Honduras. It’s the second poorest country in Central America;
more than half of children have malnutrition and mortality. Major diseases that
affect Hondurans include malaria, typhoid, influenza, tuberculosis and pneumonia
(Food for the Poor, 2014).
